Barca: Day 7

Back on the board again! Best feeling!

Met Josh and Aaron again at the ledges close to their apartment.

FC Barcelona stadium!

Went to this spot Dennis Busenitz is skating in Diagonal! I think it's one of the gnarliest spots I've ever skated! The downhill goes so fast! I left the spot with flatspots..

Like 20 meters from the downhill spot there's this ledge!

And a new big 4? Since the MACBA big 4 is gone now..

1 baguette done, 1 more to go. Everyone was looking really weird at me cause I was having breakfast in the metro and train.

We took the train to Moli Nou to go to this concrete spot with ledges and a few of them end in a bank. Reynolds does a tre flip noseslide overthere.

But we found out we went to the wrong place! We did get a few nice views tho and a nice spanish coffee again!

Then we went to these blue banks at the metro stop 'Gorg' and that made our day turn good again!

On the other side of the road there's this really good hip where you normally get kicked out! But this time we didn't get kicked out and we were able to film a trick!

Only Aaron was having food from this restaurant. Josh had food from the KFC, I had ice cream from the KFC and Dennis had ice cream from the Mc Donalds.

Go karting in the shopping mall! How cool is that?!

Aaron forgot to take out his metro ticket and it got all sweaty. He tried to dry it with his lighter but it didn't work out. The next day it was working tho! The last day began good, got shitty, and became good again! One more day to go! Man, I miss Barca!

Barca: Day 6

Daily routine. Posting these pictures everyday makes me look like a skate-nerd even more!

10 in the morning, stoked to skate!

Went to Montbau cause there are a lot of spots around there!

Like these slightly downwards ledges which used to be skatestopped! But you can still do lipslides and other slides!

Montbau has some good views too!

This thing always looks like a pretty cool spot but basically it's just crap!

More good views! Castle on the top of that hill..

When walking back to the metro we crossed the road and I stepped on a fish. There were even more than this one.

Josh chopped off his head and threw it at Aaron and Dennis. Landed on the front window of a car!

Having a spanish coffee at MACBA! Then we met Joel over there, went to some shops and a really shitty skateshop close to the metro stop 'Fontana'. Then we all felled pretty tired from walking around for so long!

Got back home and finally got a nice pizza! At this Canadian pizzaria at Paral-lel, which makes square pizza's!

Barca: Day 5

This was my morning drink.. It's a weird but sweet kind of milk.

Went to Zona Universitaria which is close to the apartment where Josh and Aaron are staying.

Nice palms!

Came by this pretty dope spot on a roof..

But we went there to skate these ledges! I loved that spot!

And again when I'm skating a spot I enjoi really hard it's gonna rain! But we waited again and it dryed up after a bit! Then I did a line for film and we went to the supermarket cause everyone was getting hungry!

Cruising back to the tram.

Went back to Paral-lel to meet Joel.

Then we went to this Kebab shop and Aaron got himself a Kebab for lunch. Josh left us cause he felled too sore!

Next was Sants! Which is pretty rough now! But there's this really good ledge on the concrete and we had a pretty good session on that thing! I'll show you some more pictures by Joel from that session later! After that session we all felled pretty tired and we went back home.

Dennis and I got ourself a pizza again. And they still have these Cheetos football things in Spain! Sooo sweet!

The pizza wasn't really worth the money!

Went to the internet cafe next door to see where this spot was cause Dennis wanted to skate that the next day.

Re-stocking the ingredients. Milk in the morning, water all day, beer at night!

What a suprise...

Barca: Day 4

Waking up with Mosaic! Brian Wenning with a really gnarly backside 5-0 fs shove out at MACBA above!

We went to this bank next to La Ramblas but it was still wet from cleaning.

So we watched this marathon and crazy bums falling a sleep on their shopping cart.

Then we went to Arc de Triomf but we found at that the finish of the marathon was over there so it was kinda busy and we didn't skate that spot too!

Then we just went back to Paral-lel to meet Josh, Aaron and Eric!

Aaron wanted to go to the metal ledges at Espanya so I showed them.

Circus was still there but now some jerk parked his van against the lower ledge!

At Paral-lel we met Drew from Minnesota. He went with us too, doing a fs tailslide above!

Still really sore, sipping some 40oz's!

While we were skating the ledges the guy on the right, Joel from Sweden showed up and the crew was getting bigger!

We took the train to Almeda. I told everyone how good Josh is at bailing first try on tape! So I got the finger..

I didn't really remembered the way to the spot but cause of that we walked up against this pretty nice gap! Joel with a first try Nollie.

It started raining when we arrived at the spot but luckily enough it wasn't hard and it dryed up after a while.

Everyone was starting to get hungry so we went to..

the Mc Donalds. The sign on the left said 300 m but it was definitely further than that and some guys directed us the wrong way but luckily enough Drew asked someone else too to be sure!

Burgers!

On the way back to the metro we found this perfect set of stairs!

Josh and Aaron came to our hostel to see some spots on my laptop to skate the next day! Then we went for a chill and skate at Paral-lel. Well.. I went for the skating!

Dennis turned 21! So now act like a 21 year old!

Barca: Day 3

Another beatiful morning!

We first went to the metal ledges close to Pl. Espanya but there was a Circus!

I thought we couldn't skate them but we were lucky!

After we skated the ledges for a bit we went into the park close to there to catch some nice views but we didn't get the view we were looking for.

At 1 we met up with Aaron and Josh at Paral-lel.

Then I brought them to Baro de Viver.

Where you'll find the pretty famous beer banks!

After Josh and Aaron both killed them self and Dennis filmed a trick we went back! Josh dropped in this very small ledge from a hill.. Taking it higher up every try! After a view try's he was almost on the highest level and when he was riding down he grinded the ledge accidently.. Lost his balance but he got back on. But somehow he thought that he had to step off and he tried to step off. But then he flew off his skateboard and landed on his back. I was lucky I just started filming him and he got that bail first try!

They went to their apartment and Dennis and I went to Gloriés.

Next to this huge dildo there are these blocks! Pretty cool!

And these 2 bumps! After that we went back home to get some food and then we went to MACBA for a skate and some beers! I was skating the lovely flat on my own and the rest was talking. Then I tried to ollie up all these steps next to that long ledge to drop and did it almost first try but didn't got the last step. Somehow I made it look so easy and fun that Josh tried it to.. But he tried it too nonchalant and he already had a couple of beers.. Guess what! He had a hangup on the first step and made his back and wrist even more sore! Luckily enough Eric started filming him and he got it first try! Good times at MACBA!

Barca: Day 2

Waking up with a skatevideo.. What else?

Up to the supermarket to get breakfast!

Warming up at Paral-lel..

Went to the Barceloneta banks where Dennis had more than 20 hangups! Seriously..

Forum is one of the best places in Barcelona I think.. Not too crowded. At least 5 spots close to eachother and some variety! 

No bathroom mirrors for us! For all you hyvers!

Who going for a Fs Hurricane to bs dive out?!

We met 2 Canadians, Josh and Aaron at these ledges.

Went to the supermarket to get some food! Cheapness..

Then I showed them the Selva del Mar banks!

We also met some Americans which already knew Josh and Aaron. Eric from New York here with Bs front foot impossible?! Crazy!

Eric wanted to show us these ledges close to the Barceloneta banks.. That line from Chad Tim Tim in that Transworld video is pretty crazy and he makes it look so easy!

Great day! Meeting new people is allways good and having great skatesessions with them is even better!

Barca: Day 1

So, 1.5 weeks ago I went to Barcelona with Dennis.

When we arrived at the airport in Reus, which is 1.5 hours from Barcelona we had to wait for 2 hours til the bus arrived. Watched Diagonal in the meanwhile.

It was raining really heavy and everywhere mud was gushing down the hills.

Arrived in Barcelona at Sants, shit was floating over! Pretty unusual for Catalunia.

Checked in at our hostel which was a nice place!

We were in a hostel really close to Paral-lel. If you go down this street and turn right you're basically on the spot.

Bought a pizza in the supermarket. It was the most disgusting pizza I ever had! Maybe cause we had to put it in the microwave...

The beer is missed!

Watched a lot of skatevideos and went to sleep really early!

It was clearing up a bit but still everything was wet so..

After 2 hours we were both awake and it was pretty dry outside so Dennis put his contact lenses back in and we went for a little skate.

Taking the downhill to Paral-lel but there were still a lot of puddles, especially on the wheelies.

So we went to this spot Ronson Lambert totally killed!

I still can't believe people do more then a kickturn on these things!

We both didn't really feel like skating and Dennis had hangups all the time. So after a bit of cruising around and a game of skate we went back to the hostel! Where I wanted to update my blog but the internet wasn't working! So that's why you get your updates now! Day 2 tomorrow..
